Hockey parents in search of a better way.

As ice hockey parents, we enjoyed watching our kids compete in local tournaments. However, we did not look forward to the amount of paperwork that went into them. Like many local youth sport organizations, youth ice hockey relies on parent volunteers to perform hundreds of hours of tournament preparation. This includes spending nights and weekends leading up to the event collecting tournament registrations, fees and waivers, as well as inputting team rosters, and player and coach information.

We knew that there had to be a better way. In the Fall of 2012, a few of us started meeting and soon the cocktail-napkin ideas began flowing. StatMonsters was born.

StatMonsters is a web-based registration and game-time management platform designed to expedite the registration process. It’s become an invaluable tool in helping youth and adults hockey programs grow their tournaments. Teams and their families also love that it delivers real-time game results straight to mobile phones or any electronic device. So even when family members are far away, they can still take part in the action.

Today, StatMonsters specializes in building platforms for youth and adult hockey programs. We continue to revolutionize participant registrations, event management, and game-time reporting. Beyond our versatile software, we are especially proud of our behind-the-scenes support that’s dedicated to enhancing the youth and adult sports experience for players and their families.
